What is it about twenty-somethings?

If 40 is the new 30 and 30 is the new 20, then what does that make those who are in their 20’s?

There is no doubt that things have changed in the last few decades.  Marriage is occurring later, students are in school longer and company loyalty is only understood in old textbooks.

So what do these new demographics mean for our society?  What do they mean for those who are still in their prime working and/or studying to a better future?

Steve Paikin joins with a Jeffery Jensen Arnett to discuss these and many more questions and implications.  Mr. Arnett is a Research Professor in the Department of Psychology at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. He coined the term “emerging adulthood,” and he is the author of Emerging Adulthood: The Winding Road from Late Teens through the Twenties.
