Science and the Moral Landscape

Sam Harris is one of the more prominent figures in the New Atheist Movement along side other names like Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins.  His latest book, The Moral Landscape:  How Science Can Determine Human Values landed him an interview with Mary Hynes of Tapestry.

In short, Harris argues that science can do a better job in answering the moral and value-based questions of our day than religion.  The discussion is an interesting one; though I must admit that Harris does not provide as much evidence for his point as I would have liked.  Nevertheless, his views are views that are held by many and deserve to be heard and considered.
