The first time I listened to this interview, I was on a week-day, morning run that certainly felt much longer.  I am all too aware that I am not as young as I used to be.  The reality is that I am not able to do all the things quite the same way I used to. . . and it is a bit scary.

However, that is not to say that I (or others I know) are preparing to die or lessen the activities in my life – quite the contrary.

The question is:  what is the questions that we should be asking ourselves at midlife?

While midlife is often bemoaned, the other side is all very good.  I am wiser, I don’t things quite as seriously, I have more patience and other things.  As described here, “midlife is the time when we make an appointment with our own soul.”

All is all, this is a great interview for those at peace and/or at war with midlife.
