What We Nurture

In the beginning of this program of On Being, Krista Tippett doesn’t give much of an explanation about the content, which is quite a-typical.  Usually, her episode are clearly defined, but not this one.  In fact, she discloses that when they planned this episode, she thought about the experts she could bring on the show, but what she really wanted was someone who was “wise.”

I think that is exactly what she got:  a program filled with stories, parables and ramblings from a very wise woman.

This is the kind of interview that makes you smile, ponder, laugh, sigh – you know. . . span the spectrum of our lives.  Sylvia Borestein says from the very beginning that her greatest accomplishment is her grown children who are all quite wonderful.

So take a seat, grab a nice beverage and prepare yourself to reflect on the span and depth and life.
